Phat Angel Boutique is a a funky girly boutique in the heart of Baker Street’s shopping district in Nelson, BC. Owner and operator Kate Falconer approached pink dog designs during the initial stages of creating her company’s business plan. With the concept of selling funky and cool girly accessories, clothing and gifts, Kate wanted a bright and eye-catching logo that would represent the alternative style of her products while targeting a niche demographic.  Taking inspiration from tribal style tattoos and the once fringe now mainstream Harley Davidson Logo I designed a logo that is slightly edgy and alternative, while at the same time openly fun, free and full of heart. Phat Angel Boutique has now expanded their line of products taking over the shop next door and is the recipient of Nelson’s Best Business Awards of 2011. Way to go Kate!
